We are using Okta to authenticate to our on-prem Jira Service Desk. When launching Service Desk from Okta "/secure/Dashboard.jspa" is appended to the url we specify and changes https://helpdesk.ourcompany.org/servicedesk/customer/portal/1/ to https://helpdesk.ourcompany.org/servicedesk/customer/portal/1/secure/Dashboard.jspa. This sends end users to the Dashboard instead of the Portal.
Has anyone seen this or have a fix? So far neither Atlassian nor Okta support has found a solution.
I've found two community posts with similar issues, but without resolution.
Thanks,Tim
After being tossed back and forth between Atlassian and Okta support we went with JIRA SAML Single Sign On (SSO), JIRA SSO by miniOrange, https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1215430/jira-saml-single-sign-on-sso-jira-sso?hosting=server&tab=overview. It works brilliantly
