Service account to create tickets through API without using

I need the ability to create tickets on Jira from Elasticsearch using the API, but I dont want to use an agent account to authenticate.

Is there a way of creating a service account for such a purpose.

A service account in Jira? Create user > Jira internal directory for Directory option. That's basically a local account. Sorry if I'm misunderstanding...
