When a customer raises a request in customer portal he has to pick a user in user picker custom field to whom a notification email should be sent on issue creation.
I have also given notification permission for the user picker custom field. But the user is not receiving the email notification(all users are in active directory).
Kindly let me know any solution for this. TIA.

Just remember if the user that was selected in the user picker field is part of the same organisation that was selected in the "Share With" field, the user won't receive the notification from the user picker field, just the Organisation notification.

I have the same problem. I have custom field user picker whom i want to send notifications. In notification scheme added custom field but nobody gets emails.

The "Share With" field appears when you're raising a request through the Customer Portal and the Requester is a member of an organization.
