how I can check two custom fields values equal or not

Aynur March 6, 2022 edited

Hi dear all and dear community admins,

I have created a rule in Jira automation. I have two different custom fields Customers(select list(single choice)) and Customers Market Area (select list(cascading)). The other important thing only Customers custom field is used when issue is created.

At the issue creation, when the custom field (Customers) is selected, how I can check the field Customers selected value equals to Customers Market Area parent value.

I have looked through lots of post, they are not helpful for my automation.

Could you please share your ideas with me regarding this problem.

Thanks so much in advance.

Hi @Aynur

Sorry, but I didn't understand you. Do you need a conditional field?

Example: If the valeu int he field 1, is "OK", then open the filed OK.

Is it something like that?
