Script Runner behavior rendering

I am new to scriptrunner, but not new to scripting in javascript, but I am having some issues getting my desired results with my script behavirors

I am creating a behavior, and in this example, whenever the "Country" field is set to United States, a checkbox should appeared called "Acknowledged" and be a required field.

Originally, the field was visible on the form, and would only do the scripts functionality when it was pressed or selected.

What I am trying to achieve is have the Acknowledge field start off as hidden and optional, then if the Country is set to United States, it then is visible and required, but I cant seem to get the Acknowledge field to render. Could anyone help me out with this?

In the end, what we are trying to do is check if the end user selected a combination of 2 fields (nFeed) and if so, force them to acknowledge that they are putting in a ticket that will wake up the whole team
