I have created a issue type that requires the Requestor to select an Approver. This part seems to work fine and I can even get JSD to send the Approver a email notification. The problem is that the if the Approver is a "Service desk customer" they get the message "You don't have approve permission" when trying to approve the request. If an Agent is the Approver everything works fine. How do I grant "Service desk customer" the permission to Approve? I don't see that as a choice in the list of Permissions.

I just discovered something else. It seems that "Service Desk Customers" can approve if they log into the portal, but they can't Approve by selecting the approve button in the email.
So much empty here.
Did you ever find a reason for or solution to this behavior? I am running up against this same thing.
