Firas AlTamimi March 21, 2019

We are experiencing too much slowness in our jira SD hosted server version hosted in our server.

Even we have increased the memory to 5 GB still it is not behaving as expected >browsing is very slow

We have the following products running integrated with same server

1.SD

2.Software

3.Confluence

Please can someone advise hoe to do the health test for the jira application .It is very urgent

Ohh, as soon as migrate from internal HSQL to normal DBMS (I recommend PostgreSQL) by follow this tutorial. HSQL is only for testing purposes.

https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver071/switching-databases-802592192.html#Switchingdatabases-differenttype

This could be one of reasons why it's slow. Let me know when you will have migrated from HSQL to something else.

After that set both apps jvam values XMS and XMX to 2 GB. How many issues you have in Jira?

Then let me know it's better or not. In case of need we will continue.

Dear Peter

I am trying to import activeobjects.xml file in new database postgresql but it is throwing an error message

Error importing data: org.xml.sax.SAXException: The XML document does not contain the <entity-engine-xml> root element or it was closed too early

Please can you update us
