Hello Guys,
We have Jira Service Desk Cloud version and we have Automation for Jira plugin. In order to close the tickets automatically after 3 days in Resolved I wrote a Automation rule. It is working for most of the requests but for some of them it is not working and in Audit Log it says RequestAbortedException: Request aborted. I dont know what it means and what I should do in order to prevent this from happening.
It would be great if you can help me out with this one!
You can see our rule in the picture,
Thanks a lot!
My understanding of that specific error means that the application (presumably Jira Cloud or possibly this Automation plugin), had a request made to it, but before it could respond completely, it appears that the client that requested the page/resource could have closed the session. This can happen when quickly navigating through pages, or closing the browser tab before it finishes loading.
I'm not sure how exactly this error applies to the specific automation tasks you are using here though. Where exactly do you see this? Is this the Audit log of this Automation plugin? Perhaps there is a problem with the plugin being unable to receive data/request from the cloud site in time.
Hello Andrew,
First of all thanks a lot for your response. You are right, we see this error message in the Audit log of this Automation plugin. When I created this topic, some of our tickets weren't transitioning to closed even though they were in resolved more than a month. Now I see that all of them moved to closed. Still we have issues (This time it is SocketException: Socket closed problem) but it seems like the plugin is working good.
Kind Regards.
