notifications for all the group members when issues added

Hi 

 i need all the (group 1) members in jira  notified when a issue is assigned to a  (group1),

tried to add in events but the issue was group 1 members are notified when any issue is assigned to any group in service desk , not to the specific group 1.

Hopefully you've found a solution to this.  If not, one solution you may try is the Send a custom email Post-function in ScriptRunner for JIRA.   You may also look at the Fire an event when condition is true post-function in Power Scripts for JIRA.
