I have created a new tab called "Analysis" which contains a number of custom fields. That works OK.
I have also created a custom field called "Department". I want this Department field to appear directly in the Details section (underneath Labels). However, JIRA is adding a new tab called "Field Tab" and inserting it there instead.
How do I ensure that "Department" field is placed within the Details sections and that "Field Tab" tab doesn't appear?

Damien,
Once you add the tabs, all the custom fields will stay in the tabs, you can't add them to the 'Details' section.

Pedro, is there an existing feature request for the ability to add custom fields to the Details section even if tabs exist? I would like to show a custom field with more information about the workflow status, and in order for this field to be useful, users should be able to see the message regardless of which tab they have open.
