Hello everyone,
We have a project requirement to enhance user accessibility by displaying additional or specific workflow transition buttons on the issue view screen.
Current Jira setup:
I came across this Atlassian document about adding more workflow transition buttons:
Add More Workflow Transition Buttons to Jira Issue Page
I tried the approach mentioned in the document, which involves updating the ops.bar.group.size.opsbar-transitions
attribute in the jira-config.properties
file. However, it doesn't seem to work with Jira Server v9.x.
Our specific requirements are:
Is there an alternative way to implement this functionality in Jira Server v9.x? Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!
What I can remember is that in Jira 9 the layout has changed somewhat, also in relation to view workflow.
I think that this opsbar transition number is not a valid option anymore.

Hello @Marc - Devoteam
Thank you for your reply.
Yes, I have seen this ticket details as well...as it mentions the same thing that modifying the ops.bar.group.size.opsbar-transitions attribute value no longer has any affect and there is no out of the box workaround for this Suggestion at the moment.
So, is it like dead-end for this kind of requirement in newer versions of Jira Software?
Do you have any further suggestions? Thanks
