Hi Oleksiy,

Sorry to hear about this problem.  I understand that you are seeing very long times to comment on a Jira issue.  It looks like you are seeing a spinner icon on the lower left part of the page.

This is at least an indication that something in the system is waiting.  But right now it is unclear to me exactly what that is.  I have a suspicion that you might have some plugin installed in Jira that might be causing this part of the process to hang, but without looking closer at some logs it will be really difficult to troubleshoot this effectively.

I would recommend a two pronged approach here.   This would be to recreate this problem and

  1. capture a HAR file of the page load itself in the browser
  2. Take a look at the $JIRAHOME/log/atlassian-jira.log at this time

One of these two locations (or maybe both) should be able to give us more clues as to this long load time.   If neither source gives us any clues, then the next steps would be to generate a series of thread dumps at the time this long load is happening.  This can also help us to better understand what Java is doing at that time.

If you're not sure about reviewing this data, please let me know.  I'd be happy to take a closer look at the content, however our Community site won't let you upload these kinds of files directly to it.  Either you can use a 3rd party file sharing service like google drive or dropbox to host these and link here, OR if you feel this data should remain private let me know and perhaps we can create a support case to take a closer look here.

Cheers,

Andy
