I am pretty new in Jira automation and workflow. I need to apply a validator for a custom field in request type. Actually I have already written a script for my validator, but do not know how I can apply this validator for the custom field in the Request Type in Service Desk.
Could you please share your knowledge regarding this issue? Would you mind suggest your opinions to me about this?

Hi @Aynur ,
validators is something that could be applied at workflow level. It means that they work for issue type workflows mapped to your Request Types.
If you need to have something that happens on SD portal during customer ticket creation, please, use behaviours for portal provided by script runner (https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/5.6.8/jira/behaviours-servicedesk.html).
