We have an object type called "Assigned group".

We also have this as an Insight custom field in our Jira Service Desk projects, and all issues are connected to an object of this type. Sometimes though the issue changes the connected object.

I.E. Somebody have a problem with the Mail system, creates an incident and select the assigned group "Exchange group". This group finds out that the problem is in the database, so they change the assigned group to "Database group".

Now the Exchange group still wants to report on issues they have worked on, but looking at the the object, the issue is no longer listed in "Connected Jira Issues".

Is there a way to find this previous related info?

Hi Johannes.

Unfortunately, "Connected Tickets" are not registered as Historical Events on the Objects, and from our side we cannot trace historical connected Tickets.
As for Jira, {field} WAS {Value} is supporting only certain Jira Fields (Asignee, Version etc.) and no Customfields. (have a look here).

Other addons may allow you Team Time Sheets Reports based on Worklogs.

If you wish, you can log a feature request in our Open Portal: https://jira.riada.io

Kind regards,
