Assets Object assignment to different Request Types on Customer Portal

Hi Folks,

 

We have a requirement to list different Assets Objects in the the same Assets Object field on Customer portal for different Request types in Jira Service Management project.

Example:

Request type: Infrastructure Incident

Affected Service assets field contains only Infrastructure related Objects from Business Service Object

 

Request type: Application Incident

Affected Service assets field contains only Application related Objects from Business Service Object

 

We did not find any solution for this.

Do you have any idea?

This can be done, but you would have to use the same request type and then have the user pick if it is an infrastructure or application issue. You can then use filter issue scope to set the affected service, which btw has to be a new assets field since you cannot modify the default one in JSM.
