I have a central project "ProjectA" where I have an issue "ProjectA-1".
This issue has multiple Bugs linked to it which are from different ProjectB.
Now I need to create an automation for this scenario -> Whenever the Resolution is changed in the ProjectB child issue, then the resolution should be copied to ProjectA-1 which is the parent issue.
The Caveat is, there ProjectA being a Central project, there will be 100s of project like ProjectB i.e ProjectC, ProjectD,ProjectE all being linked to various issues of "ProjectA" and it is not possible to add automation to all of these projects.
Hence I want to set the automation in Project A where it will listen to the linked issues for any changes in Resolution and then copy the same back to Parent.
Any suggestions on this would be helpful.
Hi @Mohana Sundar J ,
In the use case mentioned, please can you clarify what would you happen if you have 3 tickets linked to a Parent from ProjectC, ProjectD,ProjectE, would you keep rewriting he resolution in ProjectA's tickets each time?
Perhaps you can elaborate on the use case or scenario and based on that we can check what might be a better approach to achieving the output.
