Back up single project

Hi,

How to take back up of a single project in JIRA and restore only that project in a test instance with out disturbing test environment.

You can't.  You can export everything to xml and then import a single project from that (although it's still going to "disturb" the test system)

Thanks Nic brough for response.Can you tell me what is the better way to do this with minimal rework

Export everything to xml and import the single project you need...

Hi there,
As previously mentioned, there's no way to export a single project. Here are the documentation for backing up your system and importing a single project:

Restoring a Project from Backup

Please note that if the instance that you are importing the project into doesn't have the same workflows, fields, configurations, as the former project, you'll need to configure that too beforehand.
