Best practice to Reduce workflows in JIRA??

Raju Anumula July 13, 2018

Hi Team,

In my organization we have 500 projects, 200 projects are using different workflow(same statuses) and 250 projects are using different issue type scheme(same issues types). Instead of that, I create one standard workflow and standard issue type scheme assign to 200 projects.

Now the problem is when creating a project comes with New default workflow and issue type scheme. I compared last 30 projects out of 30 15 projects are using the same statuses but different default workflows.

Is there any way to come project with standard workflow(200 projects already using) and standard issue type scheme(250 projects using)

Thanks in Advance.

Have you tried creating projects with shared configuration? That way you can use a template project and reuse the same schemes over and over again. The shared configuration option is at the bottom of the project creation wizard.
