Best way to manage swim lanes and categories?

I'm bringing our HR team into Jira they have various work types they do. E.g. Recruitment, Office Mgmt, Misc, L&D and Backlog they also use status like Fast, Ongoing, On IT and Pipeline.

They use a cork board as a grid to represent this. I wanted to know how do I best go about creating a board to represent this?

Do I create swim lanes with the statuts, or do I create swim lanes that represent a type with the workload in each type and move the statu's into priority?

Thanks,

Hi @Bachittar_Singh

I don't know if you've given enough information to fully answer your question.

As @Sreenivasaraju P has said, you would want to use a Kanban board rather than a scrum board, because Kanban is just a continuous flow of tickets coming in, going through the board and being closed.

I would mock up a few test boards with different ways of displaying their data and see what appeals to them / what fits closest to their current way of working.

If there is no confidential info on it, a photo of their current cork board may help us understand what could work best.

@Bachittar_Singh ,

You can try kanboards for these requirements
