[BigPicture] This plugin has changed all my release dates in JIRA to today's date. How do I revert?

After installing the plugin I noticed that the Start date and Release date for all my releases going back a year have been changed to today's date. Both for unreleased versions (where those dates were empty) and for released versions (where those dates were filled). I'm not sure why this happened, but is there a way to revert this? I tried to go through and correct the dates one-by-one, but when I refresh the page they're all set to today's date again.

this is because there are items within your fixversion that have an end date that is different than the release date you've attached to the fixversion itself.  Or

and you probably pulled the fixversion and its children into a Gantt.

Go into the Gantt and set the Task Mode for the parent and children to 'manual'.

that way you can change it back, and BigGantt won't change it again.

If you leave the Task Mode on 'auto' it will adjust the end dates of the fixversion to the latest date of the children.

Hi @Anita Suri

Seems odd.

Have you tried to contact the add-ons vendor? They know their add-on best and may have an explanation and way to help you.

I looked for their support channel, you find it behind this link:

This exact same thing happened to me as well today. Every single issue in my backlog got the start and end dates updated to today where there wasn't a date and all my fix versions were updated also, I checked after reading this. I have no idea what else was automatically updated but to say I'm unhappy is only the polite public facade for my inner burning rage.

No warning whatsoever from the app or any indication it had happened or would happen, it was purely by chance we noticed something was off and took a look at one of our issues then spotted a second, third and the pattern formed so we did a search and spotted the scale of the issue.

It's incredible that the plugin can just go ahead and update the entire backlog without telling you what's going on. We were just trialling it so we have no idea what all of the settings do yet, so this is out of the box default :(
