If this is the same as JIRA issue search show it's related to the plugin and how the fields are used by it.
If this only occurs in JIRA gadget it's related to it and an issue in the filter gadet. But I suspect the gadget only display what the Issue search can.
Not possible to use the BigPicture Gantt gadget to achieve what you want? It might be possible the fields you want to display generates based on others on run-time. Dig in the database if your want the truth or check with BigPicture support what is expected.
