Can I transition a closed issue when it is commented?

We would like to trigger a transition from closed to re-opened and clear resolution, whenever a closed issue is commented. Is this possible and if so, how do I do it?

Hi Jean.

With JIRA itself you can't, but you can use the Automation plugin and set a automation action to do that.

if you're using JIRA Service Desk, you can achieve it by means of the new Automation feature.
