Does Jira support the use of SQL Server Snapshot Isolation?

JIRA supports SQL Server. What does the snapshot isolation does?

I believe it provides a snapshot of the db to the application instead of the current state?

I think JIRA will handle whatever you have on your db since it can perform queries.
