The workflow for an issue is configurable by issue type - if you open up a "workflow scheme", you'll see it lists which issue types use which workflows in the project you apply the scheme to.
So, no, Epics in a project can't have different workflows, but yes, you can have Epics, Stories, Bugs, Tasks etc all use different workflows in the project.
Thanks, I have another quick question. I created a demo project. Inside this demo project I created 2 epics, 1 story and 1 task; and tried to change workflow for epics, story and task. But I am still getting same workflow for all (epics, story and task). Any suggestions or link to assign different workflow to story, task and epics inside a project?
