Can filter sharing "Shared with logged-in users" be disabled?

Is it possible to prevent users from sharing filters and dashboards with this level of access: "Shared with logged-in users (VIEW)"

The problem is that external users with limited access (to specific jira projects via permission schemes) can still see the names of these filters and dashboards.  We're periodically having to change the sharing from logged-in users to a more restrictive jira-users group.

I've been using a javascript hack to remove the 'Group' value from the dropdown for a year now. You could try something like that.
