Currently working with Jira Cloud.

We have a project that uses email as a the source for ticket creation.

Currently the email only imports a Summary and Description.  Is there a way to format the email so that other data for other fields, both primary and custom fields, are actually populated in the ticket?

For example, would like import priority, due date, etc.  as as custom fields that we have such as internal company IDs, invoice $ amounts, and other things that the e-mail can contain from our database.

Hello,

You can not do it with the out of the box email handlers. You would need to use and add-on like Email this issue or Enterprise Email Handler.
