Had to create a new project because the structure was not correct.  Can I export the user stories from the old project and import the stories into the new project?

Hey Robert,

Yes, you can export and then re-import issues into your new project.

You will lose the history on your issues as well as some information in some of the fields (mainly Comments)

Otherwise you should be able to follow this guide for exporting:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/exporting-issues-776636787.html

And this guide for importing:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver073/importing-data-from-csv-861253680.html

Hope this helps,

Tyler
