I'm attempting to configure jira to create issues/add comments based upon an email address being added. However we require Multi Factor Auth for all our email addresses. Is there someway to set this up? Or is there some configuiration that I don't understand.

Thanks

Hi Matt,

Interesting.....  :)
I would suggest you use an App password instead of the actual password to fix the issue.

An app password is a long, randomly generated password that you provide only once instead of your regular password when signing in to an app or device that doesn't support two-step verification.

Please reach out to your email vendor asking for steps to gather app password.

I hope this helps. Please feel free to reach out to me of any questions.

Best regards,

Shwetha
