Change entries on drop down list JSD

Hi there,

Very much a noob so bear with me!

Using the out of the box settings, when I create a Technical Support ticket, there's a drop down list named 'Components or products' which has two entries 'Jira' and 'Public website'.

I'm trying to work out...

  1.  Where does this list comes from?
  2. How do I change the entries on that list?

My goal is to have a list of products which a customer chooses from when creating a ticket.

Thanks in advance,

David

That sounds like a custom drop down field. You can access here - Jira settings > issues > custom fields, find your field and click on ellipses to the far right and select Configure then edit default values.

now if you are speaking of the default Components filed you can add components for your project under project > project settings > components

The "Components or products" field definitely comes with a JSD external project by default, and the two that are provided are "Public website" and "Jira".

And yes, you are correct, the entries may be modified under Project > Project Settings > Components.  Note that "Components" is way down toward the bottom, hanging out with "Versions".
