Change license on server to developer license

Hi,

We are using a prod license on or JIRA installation. We are planning to install a new production server.

We do not have a developer server.

Can I install/move the prod license on to the new server and generate af developer license for the "old" server so we can use the old server for development?

Both server are standalone servere.

We have license JIRA server and JIRA Agile

Yes, i guess you can.Production licence can only be used on one server at any point in time. If the old server is going to be used for development, then it justifies the use of developer licence.

Also confirm this with Atlassian sales team.

Hi Gordon,

Yes, you can. Changing the licenses like that will not stop you from being able to work on both environments, so you shouldn't have to worry about that as well.
