Change username in LDAP correctly JIRA 6

Hi!

I have read that we can change usernames in LDAP now, and we tried to do it.

We changed username in LDAP from A to B, synchronized users from LDAP to JIRA.

But, in result we have one inactive user A and one new active user B in JIRA , but all issues are connected to old user A.

How we can change username in LDAP correctly?

Hi Kare, the rename user functionality depends on an LDAP attribute, you may want to check if the User Unique ID Attribute field in your LDAP configuration is mapped to the correct attribute for your LDAP distribution (objectGUID is the default one for MS AD for example).
