Changing fix version on closed tickets

I have a few tickets that were incorrectly marked as a different version and closed.  I'm going through the release notes and need to get those tickets moved from the version they are marked as and updated with the correct version.

 

I tried to do a bulk edit but when editing in bulk the tickets that are closed can't not be changed.  

 

I don't want to manually open each ticket and force the reopen-> in progress-> ready for QA.  process when it seems logical that someone with correct permissions should be able to change version on closed tickets.  

 

Is this possible?

Hi Amie,

you have to change your workflow, so that closed issues are editable. The procedure is described here:
