Changing the Default Order for Comments from Ascending to Descending failed in jira 4.4.1!

my jira version is 4.4.1

i followthe below steps from (https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA044/Changing+the+Default+Order+for+Comments+from+Ascending+to+Descending)

1. Access JIRA's 'Advanced Settings' page. (See Configuring Advanced Settings for more information.)
2. Edit the value of the jira.issue.actions.order property by clicking the existing value and changing it from asc to desc
3. Click the 'Update' button to save the new value in the JIRA database.

the issue's view page still shows comment on asc order,newest is at last.

i reindex jira ,and even restart jira .but result is still the same.

It was broken in jira 4.4. Check out the bug report https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-25468

You will need to upgrade JIRA, preferably the latest.

No direct way, it's a javascript hack.
