Changing the name of a JIRA Server

Hi All

I need to change the name of the server JIRA is installed on. Anyone know what I need to do to do this successfully. I know it will effect the base URL; e-mail. I am sure there must be config files that will need changing...

I am using MySQL as my backend

Hi,

If you are using HTTPS, you need to update SSL certificates to match new name.

Also - Base URL should be changed and if you are using application links - you should update those after change.

Jira config files don't need to be changed.
