Connect service desk to SQL using REST

Hello, 

I am new in development and need you help!

 I have tried to auto create issues using REST with the help of postman, and the issue was successfully created. I want to auto create issues when in WhatsUp Gold 2017(WUG 2017) system is shown a disk is full. I googled and didn't find any information of REST APIs connected with WUG, but it's DB is SQL. So I thought it would be good to try to connect JIRA with WIG's DB, but don't know how... please advice me if I try to go to the right direction and if yes please help me with documentation and advices!

Hi @Maro Hamamjyan

 

If you have some expirience in Java you can use a Jira Rest Java Client it's a simple API to interact with Jira by REST. 

For the WUG I can't it's new to me and I can't recommend anything.
