In my JIRA project, I have a custom date field that uses the calendar picker to select the date. I also have sub-tasks that copy the custom date field, but I want to automatically convert the copied custom field date to the julian date. Is that possible?
I saw the SQL code julianday() SQLite date and time functions | Atlassian Analytics | Atlassian Support
but I am unsure if it's possible. I can set up the automation, but what smart value/coding language will JIRA understand to take 21/Nov/2023 and turn it into YYJJJ format? (if at all possible)
Thank you
The KB you found only applies to Atlassian Analytics, which is a Cloud only application. There is nothing equivalent in automation, so you would have to use math expressions in order to convert the date into a julian date.
