Convert existing plugin to Marketplace plugin

We have supported a plugin: https://plugins.atlassian.com/plugins/com.xiplink.jira.git.jira_git_plugin in the past (though not very well since we were giving it away for free). Now with the Atlassian Marketplace we would like to offer it commercially.

Can we use this same plugin to sell it on Atlassian Marketplace or do we need to start all over?

Yes... just add the licensing support, work out your pricing, then sit back and watch the money pour in as you sleep.

And then deal with the angry users of your plugin who are now being asked to pay for something that was free.
