Copy comments from 1 sub task to another

Hi,

I have set up a post function like if 1 sub-task in the issue is rejected all other sub-tasks will also be rejected automatically using Transition issues Function for this transition.

Now when i reject the subtask i give reason for rejection in the comments section. I want this reason to be updated in the comments section of all other sub-tasks that are automatically rejected.

Please let me know how to achieve this.

Thanks,

Krithica

Hello @Krithica Gowri Shankar

I guess you are using an plugin to transition other sub-tasks to rejection. In this case you can customize the post-function to add the comment in all sub-tasks and that comment should be copied to all the sub-tasks.

If customizing the post-function isn't possible then you can write a custom listner which copies your comment to all the sibling sub-tasks. Which plugin are you using to reject all sibling sub-tasks which contains ( Transition issues Function)
