Count assignees who were resolving issues

Is it possible to calculate how many unique assignees (or reporters) have been assigned to resolved issues eg. each month on a monthly chart? On a chart with time dimmension in rows and issues resolved/open issues in columns i'd like to add a number of assignees who were resolving issues that time, related to each column, to monitor dependency between growth of open issues and number of people involved in resolving them.
