Hi,
according to this description:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Creating+Issues+and+Comments+from+Email
we added a mail handler (based on file system, not on POP or IMAP) and tried it out. Works fine so far in our JIRA 6.3.9.
But we cannot get attachments to be accepted (attachments are enabled in JIRA and the used Users have the corresponding rights).
Where can we find information about the format / formats that are accepted?
Anything special about attachments?
Thanks and bests,
Björn Kruse
Standard eml format should be fine - do you have any exceptions in logs? Attachments from mails should be created. There are some edge cases thought - please see the logs if there are any messages about mails.
JIRA ignores some inline attachments (for example without the name and the one created by JIRA), but standard attachments should just work .
Hi,
I'll check with our IT and see if I can get more details.
Thank you so far!
Bests, Björn
