Create issue post function does not looks for required fields

Hi,

 In a workflow transition, added create issue in other project post function.

can it get created without filling in fields that are mandatory if you were to create it using the create form/screen?

2 projects Project A and B. During workflow transition in project creates an issue in project B. It does not looks for any required fields in that project , creates issue skipping the field.

When i create issue in project B directly i have certain mandatory fields without filling this i cannot create issue.

But with this post function i am able to create the issue without filling these fields. Is this how it works or am i missing some configuration?

Hi @Krithica Gowri Shankar,

The mandatory fields which are configured in Field Configuration will only work for CREATE operation. If you want to make any fields required on workflow transition, then you need to add validators.

You may need to install third-party add-ons based on what type of validator you want to add.
