Created JIRA User Directory uneditable

Hi,

I had created an JIRA Delegated Authentication Directory in JIRA 4.2. When this was created with LDAP Server Details/User Authentication Details/LDAP User against whom authentication shall be done, JIRA asked me to copy the contents in OSUSER.XML file. This was done in JIRA 4.2 and reused in JIRA 4.3.

Now this JIRA Delegated Authentication Directory is not editable.

The person whose account details were put in this has left the organization and everytime we delete the account of that person, the LDAP Authentication gives authentication error and JIRA stops login of the users. So we have to retain the account of the same person.

Why this JIRA Delegated Authentication Directory is uneditable now and how to make it editable ?

Thanks

Deepak Bhatia

Generally the user directory is not editable if you have logged into JIRA from a user that belongs in that user directory. This is to prevent locking yourself out.

Log into JIRA with an admin user from the internal user directory (or add an internal user directory and admin user) then you should be able to edit the delegated user directory
