Creating a dummy user in Confluence without license

Chris O'Gorman September 16, 2019 edited

Hi,

I'm trying to create a dummy user account that represents one of our clients.

I want to assign tasks to the user account, so when printing a summary report the assignee column shows if it's assigned to an employee at my company or to the client dummy account.

Is there a way to do this without adding a user account that's counts towards our total number of licenses?

Thanks,

Chris

Hey @Chris O'Gorman

If the dummy user needs access to things a licensed user would get access to, then unfortunately it would need to be a licensed account. Since you need to assign a task to the user, it would need a full account.
