Creating an issue through create screen from other project results in failed validation

Hi

doing

1) added transition to open a create screen of another project (p2)

2) imported to have the values of the necessary fields in project 1

3) trying to do the transition from project 1 to p2 by filling the create screen.

Getting error message that validation error of the two required fields (though they are filled in)

What to check for to find why the field values are not taken as valid data?

I can't work out what you are doing from this. 

"Added a transition to open a create screen" is not something you can do in Jira.  When you use a transition, it opens the transition screen (if there) and allows you to update the current issue.  It does not go off to create a new issue.

Could you explain further?
