Hey,
just limit the values to your project using a custom field context.

@Christian Czaia _Decadis AG_ Perfect, its implemented and working but since we are in agile world and PO has changed his mind :) :(, is there any way to add multi select custom field in this, however existing custom field is single select only. kindly suggest.

I guess you can't simply update a single select to a multi select custom field. You could create a new field and migrate the field values individually from your existing field using a bulk issue operation. Quite tedious though... On DC there is an alternative (not out of the box either...) https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-discussions/How-to-change-Custom-field-Type-single-select-to-Multi-select/td-p/2057006
