Default workflow

Hi, can't find default workflow for epic and story in Jira?

Not sure what you mean, can you clarify? Or does the below help?

In the Jira Admin, you can view the Default System Workflow and Workflow Scheme in the "Inactive" section of these sections - but you cannot modify these.

Most projects are created using workflows which are stored in the project templates (eg. if you use a Scrum or Kanban template during creation). These are the "defaults".

If you want a custom default - I would suggest:

1. Create a template project with your default settings - workflows, screens, etc
2. Go to Projects > Create Project
3. Choose the hyperlink "Create with shared configuration" at the bottom of the pop-up
4. Select your template project and click Next
5. Continue to create the project

^ This way, you can create a project which shares the workflow, screens, etc you want it to use as a default - and then customise these if needed.
