Deleting an issue, then I get sent to a completely different project!?

Hi,

I'm viewing issues on my Kanban board, I click one of the issues, then click the 3 dots on the right-hand side, choose delete, it asks if I'm sure I want to delete, I confirm yes, then Jira sends me to an edit a filter screen for an unrelated project.

This seems odd behavior, is it configurable?  It should send me back to the board i was viewing minus the issue I deleted.

Any thoughts?

Thanks for getting in touch! I couldn't replicate this on Jira 7.6.1 server, so I took a look at the Cloud Version - and I was able to reproduce what you're seeing here. Just to make sure, are you using the Cloud version of Jira?

If you are, there's been a feature request for this - take a look at https://jira.atlassian.com/projects/JSWCLOUD/issues/JSWCLOUD-16723 - it looks relatively new, so it's possible that this is a recent development. We'll need to do a little more digging on our end. 

In the meantime, I recommend that you watch this issue so you can be notified when it gets update :)
