Does the 'Lables' auto populates for issue create from jira agile backlog?

Does the 'Lables' field values auto populates while creating issue from JIRA Agile backlog.

The board is configured with filter which has condition on Labels ~ "Some thing". So to appear the created issue in the backlog, Do we need to manually set the Labels or it auto populates the 'Labels' from existed Backlogs.
