Drag and Drop an Issue into Multiple Versions

How do you drag and drop an issue into multiple versions?

  • From the backlog view if I drag and drop an issue that has already been assigned to a version or multiple versions into a new version it is not longer assigned to the previous version(s).
  • From the issue edit screen I can assign the same issue to as many different versions as I want.

I am sure there is a reason, either I do not know how or I do not not yet see the logic as to why it works this way.

Thank you,

David

Hi @DSell,

You are right that this is not consistent, but it works like that indeed. There is no configuration afaik available to change that behaviour.

You more or less answered your own question there: dragging and dropping from backlog view works really great if you want to assign a ticket to a single fix version. If you want to select multiple, doing it through an edit of the issue is the way to go.
