Working on Atlassian Dragon Slayer
Requirement is to use Postgre 'current' 8.4.x (last release id .22) & pgAdmin III 8.4

Postgre documentation indicates that 8.4.1 is unsupported - I located the .tar.gz in archives
https://www.postgresql.org/download/windows/
I also located https://www.postgresql.org/ftp/postgis/pg8.4/v2.0.1/win32/
I elected to use the one above as it has an executable https://ftp.postgresql.org/pub/postgis/pg8.4/v2.0.1/win32/postgis-pg84-setup-2.0.1-1.exe
I continue to get an error that must be installed in \program files\PostgreSQL
I have created the folder, moved executable into the folder and it continues to fail with same error
Additionally, pgAdmin III does not have a 8.4 release level - however located pgAdmin III 1.22.1 I install and execute - it installs postgres 9.1
dragon slayer indicates certain applications will not work with Postgre 9 release level
Please advise best path to work thru Dragon Slayer as I have a demo on Thursday on progress and results
